Adis Hukanović holds an MA degree in psychology and is a peace activist. Since April 2016 he works as a project coordinator at forumZFD office in Sarajevo. forumZFD is an German non-governmental organization that works in the field of conflict transformation and Dealing with Past in the Western Balkan Region.
From 2010 to 2016 he worked for the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR BiH), Association of Prijedor Women Izvor from Prijedor. In his work he addressed problems of families of missing people, youth activism, human rights, and discrimination in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
2016 he published a publication on the topic „Events, narratives and interpretation of narratives, year 1992: Case study City of Prijedor“ for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. From april 2018 Adis is member of a group of self organized psychologist who provide psychosocial support to refugee and imigrants in Sarajevo.
