Marilena Chrysanthakopoulou holds an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Law and a B.Sc. in International Business from Deree-The American College of Greece. She has interned at major Greek companies like the OPAP Group and is currently working as a trainee lawyer at Ioannis Vassardanis & Partners in Athens. Her practice areas include investment and commercial arbitration.
In 2015, Marilena was a member of the University of Athens’ team that won the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot) and was deemed a distinguished speaker.
She currently holds the position of Vice President at FDI Moot Alumni, a growing network of FDI Moot past participants that aims at the strengthening of alumni relations. In January 2019, Marilena will be relocating to New York to work with the CSR team of the Libra Group.
Marilena also volunteers at a stray rescue organization in Athens and regularly coaches students from her high school in debate.
Her interests include dispute settlement, investment planning, and international business strategy. She enjoys musical theater, travelling, good food, and literature.
